This document outlines the Karat Network's scoring system, Claimer roles, and Validator details. It provides information on how Claimers’ Karat Scores are calculated, the opportunity of Claimer roles based on Karat Scores, and the benefits and requirements of becoming a Validator within the network.
Claimer Karat Score Calculation
Karat Score is determined by the following formula: Karat Score = 1000 * Wallet Holdings_Coefficient * Wallet Age_Coefficient
This table explains how the value and age of a Claimer’s wallet correspond to the coefficients.

For example:
A Claimer with a wallet value of 3 ETH and a wallet age of 15 days will have a Karat score of 450.
To prevent Sybil Attacks, Karat maintains snapshots of wallet holding and age on Ethereum at the time Karat Claimer NFT campaign is live.

Claimer Roles
The user roles are assigned based on each user's Karat Score. There are 5 roles:
Scientist, Engineer, Doctor, Security, and Artist

Validator and Lieutenant
Users can become Validators by minting NFTs.
Once a Claimer joins the network through a Validator’s referral link, the Claimer automatically becomes the Validator’s Lieutenant.
